My husband and I have been involved in CROSO since it's early days in 2007.    Over these past 16 years we have been donors and volunteer supporters. I served on the CROSO board for over 6 years, and I continue to stay involved through committee work and organizing the monthly liaison program.

We had the opportunity to travel with Molly, CROSO's executive director, to Uganda in 2017.  We met many of the CROSO graduates and scholars, and saw first hand the differences made by the opportunity for higher education. Meeting these passionate young people has sparked our continued passion for CROSO's mission.

We believe that access to education makes an important difference in transforming communities.  This is our way of helping to bring positive change to the world.  We hope you will consider a donation today on CROSO's annual online giving day!

ABOUT #CROSOcommits 2023

#CROSOcommits is an annual 24-hour fundraiser in April to show our commitment to our scholars in Uganda. This year, we are talking about how small things can make a big difference. Every donation (regardless of size) makes a BIG difference in the lives of our CROSO Scholars. Each scholar is supported to pursue a post-secondary program in college, university, or technical school and all CROSO Scholars are former street children. Join us for #CROSOcommits on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 and take this opportunity to show YOUR commitment to these amazing young people.

More information about CROSO: CROSO is an American nonprofit committed to making possible the transformation of Ugandan communities by providing post-secondary education scholarships to former street children in Uganda. We believe providing our scholars with access to higher education gives them the tools to provide for themselves and their families for the rest of their lives. Our scholarship is unique in that our scholars can study at any post-secondary institution in Uganda (university, college or technical school) and can pursue a course that is specific to their skills, talents and dreams. Armed with the academic skills, career skills (learned through their internships) and a new professional network, our graduates have the ability to become leaders in their communities!
